Read moreImproving Workplace Health can lead to reduced absenteeism, improved employee productivity and increased workplace morale and engagement. Corporate Health and Fitness Programs are designed to better support health outcomes for employees at work, through tailored and targeted programs at both a workplace and individual level. Employ Health will work closely with each company to ensure the Corporate Health and Fitness program is individualised to suit the specific needs of the workplace.
Corporate Fitness Programs can include both personal and/or group training sessions. They can be run both face to face and virtually depending on the settings of the workplace. Employ Health offers a range of Corporate Fitness Programs including but not limited to; Pilates, aerobic endurance, core stability, muscle strength, flexibility and balance.
Personal Training Corporate Packages can be individualised to the needs of the workplace and employees involved. These sessions can run either virtually or face to face on the work site:
Group Exercise Programs are a great way to increase staff morale and build strong workplace relationships. These sessions can be run in larger groups either virtually or face to face. Employ Health will tailor the sessions to suit all fitness levels and address any special needs.
Corporate Fitness Programs can empower employees to improve their health behaviour outside of work. These programs are great ways to assist people to adopt and maintain healthy behaviour through educating, as well as providing the tools and social support required to sustain these health behaviours long term. Improving health behaviour can lead to reduced health risk factors which in turn, may reduce chronic disease related absenteeism in the future.
Corporate Fitness Programs may help to improve relationships between employees to their workplace, which in turn, may help to increase employee retention. If an organisation can show their employees that they care about their health and well-being, it leads to a better rate of employee retention. A fitness program that engages all members of the workforce may result in new friendships. It may also improve the recruiting process, as current employees are able to share to potential employees that their workplace has an ‘our people are our greatest asset’ culture; something that is highly sought after.
Corporate Fitness Programs may help to reduce workplace stress and break up the day to day monotony. Stress can lead to poor productivity, presenteeism, absenteeism and poor health. Fitness programs can help to increase engagement and performance, as well as create a motivated and positive workforce culture. Breaking up the day with a fitness program can increase employee morale, whilst also having a direct impact on their health and well-being.
With the average person living seven years longer than their counterparts in the 1960’s, there’s no denying that we now have an ageing workforce. A Corporate Fitness Program is a fantastic way to manage the consequences that can arise from an ageing workplace. At Employ Health, we prefer to look at these people as an asset to the workplace and want to ensure they are able to remain in the workforce for as long as possible. Therefore, one of the greatest benefits of a Corporate Fitness Program is to improve an employee’s physical capacity, thus reducing the potential for future illness or injury as they age.
At Employ Health, we are committed to executing our vision of making the workplace a hub for health change. We acknowledge that making long term changes to a workplace’s health and well-being is not an easy process. That is why we pride ourselves on being ‘marathon runners’ - we’re in this with you for the long haul. We’re focused on long term partnerships that create sustainable workplace health changes and growth, rather than quick fixes that are only feasible in the short term.
